The Shri Yantra, called the “YANTRA RAJ” is the symbol of the great divine mother principle, the source of all energy, power, and creativity. Vedic traditions, specifically the Shri Vidya school of tantra, regard the design as the representation of the universe as well as the body of the goddess related to the feminine principle of shakti or energy. Every line, triangle, and lotus petal symbolizes a specific type of shakti.
SHRI YANTRA is usually linked with a particular deity and is used for distinct purposes such as DHYANA (Meditation), PRAYER (Puja), Attracting GOOD WEALTH, FORTUNE and SUCCESS in life. Numbers of geometric shapes and images along with mantras and tantras from the Yantra have a significant positive effect. The central point of almost all yantra is Bindu (a small red dot). Along with this, the triangles are also important symbols representing lord shiva and Shakti and the concentric round circle represents the manifestation.
